The week of February 16 was a big one on the Jackie Fisher Empathy Tour, with each of our presenters inspiring hundreds of students across their schools. But the pièce de résistance? The three remarkable women leading this tour finally had the chance to meet in person and exchange stories and experiences.

Samara O’Gorman, Maryam Ganni, and Sara Levitt had been following one another on Inspirations’ tour blog hosted on our website and social feeds for months, cheering each other on from afar. When they finally came together, the excitement was undeniable.

While each brings a unique story and perspective, their hearts align in the same place: love, generosity, and a deep passion for empowering students to be confident in who they are and to live life fully, no matter what challenges they face.

We won’t spill all the details (we recorded a special video interview and can’t wait to share it!), but we can say this: it was magical. Levitt, Ganni, and O’Gorman reflected on the tour, the impact students have had on them (yes, there were a few emotional tears), their personal journeys, their love of fashion, and so much more.

What truly stood out? These three are not only powerful on stage. They lead with heart and compassion and are honoured to carry Jackie’s memory with them into every school and into every conversation.

A heartfelt thank you to the students (ready to cheer in their Team Canada jerseys!) and staff at Leonardo Da Vinci Academy for welcoming O’Gorman back for a second visit on February 18; to F.A.C.E. Secondary School for hosting a lively session with Ganni on February 17; and to Bialik High School, our newest tour partner, for warmly welcoming Levitt on February 17.

While we always gather feedback through exit surveys, the most meaningful evaluation comes from the students’ questions. Thoughtful, respectful, insightful. They remind us just how powerful these conversations truly are.

Thank you, students. You continue to inspire this entire team.
