Elizabeth Ballantyne offers many extra-curricular activities to its students during class time, at lunch and after-school.
Yearbook
Every year, the grade 6 six teachers set up a Yearbook Committee and work together in order to create a special memory book for graduation. This is a lasting keepsake for the graduating students filled with writing, drawings and photographs.
Sports and Physical Activities
All these activities are held at lunch time and supervised by our Phys Ed teacher, M. Fortin. For each sport, there is a league with teams, a schedule and a playoff. As a reward for the winning teams, they get to compete against staff members, in front of a huge crowd in the gym.

Skating Activities (December & February) & Skate-A-Thon
EBS is fortunate to be able to use the Montreal West arena which is situated near the school. Every Friday for several months, teachers are invited to skate with their respective classes. A Skate-A-Thon is held (beginning of March), to raise funds for the Montreal West Children’s Library.
